Anna Abrell

Anna Abrell is a postgraduate at the London College of Fashion studying MA Strategic Fashion Marketing. She currently works in the London branch of Decoded Fashion where she assists the event director, writes articles about current fashion/tech trends and handles part of the social media. Anna previously interned at Matthew Williamson under the head of digital, Rosanna Falconer. She studied psychology and business administration at undergraduate level and her main interests include luxury fashion marketing, omni-channel, e- and m-commerce and all things that combine fashion, technology and digital. Anna is German and Swiss, and currently calls London her home.

    I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

I’ve been wearing them for light walks and errands all summer, and I find them really comfortable! They are so lightweight and the cushioning feels great on my feet. However, I’ve avoided wearing them for longer walks because I’m not sure if they provide the support my foot needs for longer bouts of physical activity.
My only concern with the shoe is the potential of its lifespan. Skechers has stripped this shoe down to the basics, in order to keep it light and minimal. The upper and midsole are great, but I noticed some early wear on the outsole, especially in the heel. I have only logged about 40 miles in the shoe, and it’s holding up fine. Yet, my caveat to mileage hogs is that this shoe may need to be replaced before the traditional 300-500 mile benchmark.
Although other elite runners, running fans, running retailers and just about everyone else tied to the sport scoffed in disbelief, it turned out to be a perfect match. Keflezighi debuted in Skechers at the 2011 Rock ’n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon and won in 1:02:17. Then he placed sixth against a strong field in the 2011 New York City Marathon, lowering his personal best time to 2:09:13 in the process.
