Anna Abrell

Anna Abrell is a postgraduate at the London College of Fashion studying MA Strategic Fashion Marketing. She currently works in the London branch of Decoded Fashion where she assists the event director, writes articles about current fashion/tech trends and handles part of the social media. Anna previously interned at Matthew Williamson under the head of digital, Rosanna Falconer. She studied psychology and business administration at undergraduate level and her main interests include luxury fashion marketing, omni-channel, e- and m-commerce and all things that combine fashion, technology and digital. Anna is German and Swiss, and currently calls London her home.

    I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

This is why when it comes to casual footwear, choices for men become more fragmented. I have had my eye on these Skechers shoes lines of shoes for awhile now. I was so excited to find out that we would be carrying them in our Fall 2014 Catalog, I couldn't wait to check them out! These shoes are so comfortable, they are like walking on air! The inserts are really lightweight too. Skechers shoes have a snug fit and roomier forefront section made of stretch materials which reduces friction for added comfort. The GoWalk shoes have a smooth fabric lining that almost feel seamless when wearing the shoes without socks. It's integrated OrthoLite anti-microbial sockliner helps ward off unwanted odor, even when you walk in the shoes for your entire day.
Compared to other shoes from the Skechers Performance Division, the Strada has a fairly substantial upper. Structure in the midfoot is provided by stitched overlays, and the heel contains a semi-firm counter and is lined on the exterior by an almost rubber-like overlay. Internally there is quite a bit of padding lining the ankle collar, and the tongue is likewise well-padded. I was told by Skechers that Meb really likes an upper that securely locks down his foot, and that the upper of the Strada was designed to meet this need.
