Anna Abrell

Anna Abrell is a postgraduate at the London College of Fashion studying MA Strategic Fashion Marketing. She currently works in the London branch of Decoded Fashion where she assists the event director, writes articles about current fashion/tech trends and handles part of the social media. Anna previously interned at Matthew Williamson under the head of digital, Rosanna Falconer. She studied psychology and business administration at undergraduate level and her main interests include luxury fashion marketing, omni-channel, e- and m-commerce and all things that combine fashion, technology and digital. Anna is German and Swiss, and currently calls London her home.

    I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

The comfort level offered in the Skechers GOwalk 2 has a lot to do with its design technology. The V-Stride technology, which is utilized in the shoe, features an angled outsole that complements a natural walking gait and promotes fluid stride transitions. Additionally, the sole is outfitted with pods that help to absorb shock and propel your next steps. However, the most helpful feature may be the four-way-stretch mesh located at the front the shoe. This allows for greater comfort and flexibility, and the engineered stability mesh provides more than enough support for your feet.
Recently I was sent a pair of Skechers GOwalk shoes to try out and review. These shoes are designed to be worn between workouts to give your feet a break, as their non-restrictive design allows your feet stretch and assume their natural mechanics. I’ve always had a hard time finding comfortable flats, so I was curious to try them out.
The search was on. We went to Walmart to start (I know, I know, but I was trying to be agreeable to a cheaper alternative than my $125 Merrells) and had no luck, although I was impressed by how many of their shoes had a nice comfortable sole, however the uppers on all of their casual shoes were rigid and I could picture pretty impressive blisters forming from each one that I tried on. So, our next stop was Globo Shoes. I usually don't have much luck with this store, simply because I find their shoes tend to run pretty narrow and they never seem to have any other width options available. This time however I was in luck. They had a big display of the whole Skechers Line, and although I was wary of trying on shoes from them based on my GOrunII experience I tried on a pair of their GOwalk shoes.
