  1. I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

For starters, let me emphasize my bias to smart casual attire. Dressed up enough to hang with the suits, yet dressed down enough to hang in the streets (not to mention, it’s pretty much 70 degrees year round in Los Angeles), this first look embodies exactly that. Paired with a fedora, cardigan, knit tie, and chinos, the Malling are just the kind of oxfords you need to keep you comfortable and stylish throughout your day at work.
SKECHERS is building on its success in minimal running with launches this summer of Skechers GOrun ride – a running line with enhanced cushioning, Skechers GOtrain – a workout shoe built for added stability and control, and Skechers GObionic – a zero-drop ultra-minimal running shoe. With these new lines, the Skechers Performance Division will equip athletes from the track to the gym, with additional categories planned for the trail and golf course.
As mentioned above, the Strada does not have a rubber outsole. The darker portion of the midsole is a bit more abrasion resistant than the white foam, but you will see wear if you tend to scuff on the road (I see this with my stride). This is where I question the pricing of the shoe – $130 for a shoe intended for high-mileage on roads that has no rubber on the sole might be a problem, especially when a similarly positioned shoe like the Nike Pegasus 31 retails for $100 and has an extensive rubber outsole (shoes like the Saucony Ride, Brooks Ghost, Asics Cumulus, and Mizuno Rider are also a bit cheaper). In Skechers’ defense, I will say that I asked them if they had received any negative feedback about sole durability and they indicated that it hasn’t been a problem.
