  1. I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

The suit also includes a dilution count. Skechers claims that the GO WALK is “widely recognized by the general consuming public as a designation of the source of the goods as emanating from Skechers.” I’m not sure the Trademarkologists would agree that the GO WALK shoes are famous just yet…famously ugly perhaps. Skechers claims that Fila’s use of the GO WALK trade dress on the AMAZEN MEMORY MOC harms Skechers’ reputation by wrongly suggesting that the AMAZEN MEMORY MOC has some affilation or association with Skechers.
Cheryl: Thanks for taking the time to post on our blog. There is no doubt that these shoes will not cause injury to 100% of the people who wear them. We have heard from a few people who enjoy the shoes and feel that they are more comfortable than regular shoes. The problem is that the shoes DO create extreme lateral instability and dramatically alter gait mechanics, which in many people is a dangerous thing, especially if they wear the shoes all day at work. Moreover, a pubslished scientific study has proven that the shoes DO NOT shape or tone you up. In fact, the shoes actually deactivate or reduce activity in certain muscles, including the gluteus maximus and the anterior tibialis. Skechers should warn consumers of the dangers of the shoes and not market them as harmless relacements for regular athletic shoes.
Given all of this, you can imagine my initial reaction when I was contacted a few weeks back by Skechers (directly this time) to see if I wanted to try out and review a pair of the soon-to-be released Skechers Go Run shoe. I had seen some early images of the Go Run, and they looked to be a bit of a positive departure from previous running offerings from the company, so I was at least curious (particularly since Meb Keflezghi apparently plans to use this as his racing shoe).
