  1. I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

skechers go walk 3
Skechers GObionic was launched in August after development by the Skechers Performance Division through a unique engineering process – where nature and inspired organic design drive innovations. At the foundation are 18 decoupled bio-responsive Resalyte(TM) cushioning zones added to key flex points of the foot to offer protection without compromising responsiveness. Plus with zero heel drop, the foot remains in a neutral position for more of a barefoot experience. Skechers GObionic represents the Company’s most minimalistic design without sacrificing performance.
I am not one who is up for changing my running routine, and especially my footwear. It was a big stretch to even transition into a minimalist shoe! However, Nick was really excited about the Sketchers new minimalist shoe, GObionic, and he wanted my opinion about them. Of course I was willing to give it a try because I wanted to see for myself if they truly were as good as he thought they were. I tried them out 3 weeks ago. When I slipped the shoes on, I immediately noticed how light and “foamy” they were. It felt as if I was wearing a really comfortable pair of slippers. They were extremely comfortable and I noticed that I wouldn’t need to “break” the shoes in. It’s like they were made for my feet. I ran 6 miles the first day I tried them. I felt that my feet were getting a break from the super flat and harder minimalist New Balance shoe. I liked them so much that I ran 10 miles in the GObionics the very next day. My feet felt great. I liked the bright hot pink color and the laces stayed tied double knotted for the entire run.
The M stands for midfoot and this area basically provides a landing pad for the middle of your foot to strike the ground. The idea is that it keeps your foot moving forward and promotes a midfoot strike.I think the goal was to create a little bit of a rockered feel in the shoe. The effect of the M-strike area is not drastic but it is somewhat noticeable. It is more of a subtle addition to the overall smoothness of the shoes ride.
