Anna Abrell

Anna Abrell is a postgraduate at the London College of Fashion studying MA Strategic Fashion Marketing. She currently works in the London branch of Decoded Fashion where she assists the event director, writes articles about current fashion/tech trends and handles part of the social media. Anna previously interned at Matthew Williamson under the head of digital, Rosanna Falconer. She studied psychology and business administration at undergraduate level and her main interests include luxury fashion marketing, omni-channel, e- and m-commerce and all things that combine fashion, technology and digital. Anna is German and Swiss, and currently calls London her home.

    I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

Skechers sent Keflezighi some of the early prototypes of its GoRun shoes in 2011 and he liked how they performed. That summer, he signed a two-year sponsorship deal with the Manhattan Beach, Calif.-based company, but not solely because he was looking for a paycheck. He wanted to partner with a brand that believed in him as much as he was willing to believe in the brand. Still, it was a huge risk for both sides.
I’ve probably put more miles on the Skechers GoRun Strada over the past year than any other shoe model. The reason is that I’ve been involved in wear testing the shoe since its earliest prototype iterations. The shoe has come a long way in that time, from a first run where I was ready to ditch them mid-way, to refined versions that I enjoyed running in more and more as they arrived at my door. I’ve now put a decent number of miles on the final production version and am comfortable sharing my thoughts.
I love my puppy, Spence, really I do. But he's gotten the cold shoulder from me these past few days for chewing my beloved Merrell Glove shoes (mary jane style). Gosh I loved those shoes, they went everywhere with me, I even ran a few times in them since Merrell posted that as a feature of the shoes. So when my husband held up a chewed Merrell on Saturday morning from the floor by our bed all I could do was wail "NOoooo!" and insist that I would now need new "everyday" shoes.
