Anna Abrell

Anna Abrell is a postgraduate at the London College of Fashion studying MA Strategic Fashion Marketing. She currently works in the London branch of Decoded Fashion where she assists the event director, writes articles about current fashion/tech trends and handles part of the social media. Anna previously interned at Matthew Williamson under the head of digital, Rosanna Falconer. She studied psychology and business administration at undergraduate level and her main interests include luxury fashion marketing, omni-channel, e- and m-commerce and all things that combine fashion, technology and digital. Anna is German and Swiss, and currently calls London her home.

    I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

When Skechers had its IPO in 1999, investors were skeptical in the company’s trajectory. By 2000, doubts were no longer an issue. Skechers’ stocks grew, and continued to grow. In the next coming years, investors viewed Skechers stocks as a “strong buy." In 2014, “Forbes” named Skechers “the hottest major brand in the United States” soon after it became the fifth largest sneaker company in the world, market share wise.
My only concern with the shoe is the potential of its lifespan. Skechers has stripped this shoe down to the basics, in order to keep it light and minimal. The upper and midsole are great, but I noticed some early wear on the outsole, especially in the heel. I have only logged about 40 miles in the shoe, and it’s holding up fine. Yet, my caveat to mileage hogs is that this shoe may need to be replaced before the traditional 300-500 mile benchmark.
For ladies who’s idea of a good morning is the clank of weights and the whirring of treadmills, then the ‘Agility – Perfect Fit’ or the ‘Flex Appeal- Sweet Spot’, are the perfect choice as a general all-purpose gym shoe.
