  1. I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

skechers shoes
Besides being a great road shoe, this shoe is a fantastic every day shoe for the person who doesn't want to have an elevated heel. I love how minimal shoes feel for casual use, but I don't walk midfoot first. Frankly I've never been able to figure out how to do it without looking like I am very "light in the loafers", so to speak. Therefore, whenever I do wear a zero drop shoe for work, my feet end up hurting by the end of the day. With the Go Bionics extra cushioning I find that I have the best of both worlds. Zero drop, zero pain.
But, the bad taste left in my mouth from my previous interaction with Skechers caused me to hesitate. Did I really want to support a company with a marketing approach like that which Skechers has employed? I wanted to be sure that if I agreed, and honest review is what they wanted. So, here is the text of my email response to their initial inquiry:
Just got these in the mail, excited to try them on some longer easier runs. Which leads me to my other comment – I have found the grr4 to be much less comfortable and cushiony than the grr3 which was my first Skechers and felt like a cloud (and is why I fell in love w Skechers) I even ran a marathon in them and loved it. Overall just feels like the new version is barebones especially the heel area w the finger hole. They used to be so comfortable, like a slipper. Now they feel like any other shoe. Anyone else mention that? Tks again for your reviews.
