Anna Abrell

Anna Abrell is a postgraduate at the London College of Fashion studying MA Strategic Fashion Marketing. She currently works in the London branch of Decoded Fashion where she assists the event director, writes articles about current fashion/tech trends and handles part of the social media. Anna previously interned at Matthew Williamson under the head of digital, Rosanna Falconer. She studied psychology and business administration at undergraduate level and her main interests include luxury fashion marketing, omni-channel, e- and m-commerce and all things that combine fashion, technology and digital. Anna is German and Swiss, and currently calls London her home.

    I dunno though, I wish they would switch it up a bit. It’s always the same people, with the same style of photography. Ferragamo did something similar a few months ago. The Blonde Salad- yaaaawn! I would rather it was people who actually know and wear the brand or can offer a creative take on it (just sayin…)

In fairness, the box was turned inside out, and the shoe in the image above is not the Go Run, so this may just be a generic box used for preproduction samples, but I can assure you that the guy in the image is not landing on his midfoot!
If you like a soft riding shoe with a structured upper, the Skechers GoRun Strada might be a good option to try. On the plus side, I have enjoyed the ride, and I like the dual-foam sole design on the Strada, particularly the use of a slightly firmer foam under the medial forefoot/big toe (rather than a traditional medial post under the heel and arch). I’d be interested to see this type of sole design applied to other shoes.
Thanks to some recent investments, Skechers is now one of the hottest shoe companies in America.It's also one of the most underrated, according to a recent report by Morgan Stanley.
